Where a manufacturer’s warranty applies, it is honoured through the manufacturer or its
authorised service centre in Kenya, and its terms take priority.
What the warranty covers
Manufacturing defects and hardware failures that occur in normal use within the warranty period.
Depending on the fault, we will repair the item, replace the faulty part, replace the item, or
refund it.
What the warranty does not cover
Accidental damage, drops, cracked screens and liquid damage.
Damage from power surges, unstable mains supply or use of an incorrect charger.
Normal wear — battery capacity decline, keyboard and palm-rest wear, cosmetic marks.
Software problems, operating-system issues, viruses and data loss.
Repairs, upgrades or disassembly carried out by anyone other than us or an authorised centre.
Items with a removed, altered or unreadable serial number or warranty seal.
Consumable parts and accessories supplied with the product, unless stated otherwise.
Batteries
Laptop batteries are consumable. Their capacity reduces with use and age, and this is expected
rather than a fault. Battery coverage on refurbished machines is stated on the product page.
Making a claim

Back up your data first. Warranty work can involve reinstalling the operating system or
replacing storage.
We assess the fault and tell you the outcome and expected turnaround.
Proof of purchase is required for every claim.
Turnaround
Repair times depend on parts availability, particularly where a part has to be ordered. We will
give you an estimate when we assess the device and keep you updated.
